The SCM (Steering Committee Meeting) and Workshop of the INMACOM project at the University of Ghent (UGent) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel took place on May 22-26, 2023. All partner universities took part in this SCM and Workshop, the following issues and tasks were heard and discussed on the agenda:

- INMACOM – The Uzbek perspective: TUIT, UBTUIT, NUU and SSU;

- WP9 Dissemination;

- WP1 Financial Management;

- Discussion of the curriculum development for new master’s degree program;

- Introduction to the Educational Quality Assurance at UGent;

- Showcase of some Photonics MSc courses;

- Faculty of Engineering at VUB and its education;

- Optical Communication Systems course at VUB;

- Overview of MSc in Photonics Engineering;

- Photonics Research at VUB;

- Meeting with various lecturers of the MSc curriculum.

Also on the agenda the following scientific laboratories of Ghent (iGhent Tower) and VUB (PIC) Universities were visited:

- Photonics Research Group;

- Liquid Crystals and Photonics;

- CMST & UGent Core Facility Centre for Nano- and Microfabrication;

- IDLab Design;

- Travel to Photonics Innovation Center (PIC)

- Visit of the research labs (Lab responsibles).
