On February 5, 2025, the opening ceremony of the photonics laboratory, organized within the framework of the ERASMUS+ INMACOM project, was held at the Physics and Technology Institute of SSU.
The ceremony was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of SSU, Professor A. Soleev, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor A.R. Akhatov, Head of the Scientific Department, Professor H. Khushvaktov, Director of the Institute of Engineering Physics, Associate Professor A. Absanov, as well as leading specialists of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Samarkand State Institute of Economics and Service, Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, employees of the departments of the Institute of Engineering Physics and 1st and 2nd year undergraduates of the INMACOM Master`s program. Representatives of other universities and industry also participated in the opening ceremony.
